The Passive Housing Systems Modbau Window Tape is a high-performance airtight sealing tape designed for the fast, reliable sealing of internal window and door reveals. Featuring a full-surface high-tack adhesive and convenient split-liner design, it delivers exceptional adhesion and easy installation across all construction types.
Engineered to maintain long-term airtightness, Modbau helps protect building fabric from moisture-related issues by controlling vapour movement and reducing the risk of interstitial condensation. Its flexible, stretchable structure accommodates structural movement, ensuring a durable seal even in demanding applications.
Suitable for use on a wide range of substrates, the tape can be plastered and painted over for a seamless finish. With a fixed vapour control value (Sd > 40m), excellent water penetration resistance, and a temperature resistance range from -40°C to +80°C, Modbau provides dependable performance in both new-build and retrofit projects.
